The celebrations began with a vibrant Mehendi night filled with colour, music, and lots of dancing. Following the Mehendi, Rebekah and Umar shared a beautifully intimate proposal, followed by an elegant dinner at The Westin Perth. The refined setting and understated luxury of the evening created a romantic pause within the celebrations — meaningful, personal, and deeply memorable.

On the wedding day, preparations took place in two stunning locations. Rebekah’s bridal preparations unfolded at The Westin Perth,  while, Umar prepared at his impressive mansion in Applecross.

The Nikah ceremony was held at The Westin Perth, where tradition and elegance came together seamlessly. The sacred vows were exchanged in an atmosphere of reverence and grace, marking the beginning of Rebekah and Umar’s journey as husband and wife. The ceremony was intimate, emotional, and deeply meaningful.

The celebrations concluded the following day with the Walima — the wedding reception — also hosted at The Westin Perth.
